Morning all. Wonder if the Vinnies will still be a goer today? I had the last two tins from my Asda last night but might try a slight detour to another store on the way to work, time permitting.

Its showing as not in the 3 for £10 so fingers crossed it will still be a go'er :)

I was doing what i thought was quite a tame MOC shop in Sada tonight

I was using maltesers MOCs, £5/40 apg and various apgs.!

Included on the conveyor were a few bits and bobs *cough* chocolate *cough* and clothes that unfortunately didnt fit ;)

The SA snapped (really viciously) that she wouldnt scan anything until she looked at my MOCs. !So i hand them all to her and she sighs

She then said i couldnt use my £5 off if i didnt spend £40. I said there is definitely +£40 there. She sighs again

She then said it still had to be £40 after using my manufacturer mocs. I said that was wrong but wasnt bothered because it would probably come to more than £40 (it came to £40.01 :rotfl:). She didnt sigh so much as hmmmph this time

The best was when she said tonights shop also had to contain 8 different items or she wouldnt accept the £5 off. !On top of this said my single lime wouldnt count because it is classed as fruit and veg and not grocery !

I actually had to get an SV over to educate her on the whole apg promo. :rotfl:

The SV was mortified wben i told her all the points that SA and I were disagreeing over. She authorised them all no bother and apologised profusely .T

    :T:T:T:T

You do wonder how they even manage to find their way to work each day let alone work a till.:p

Vinnies isn't an invisible trigger. It appears on comparisons at full price so....

    In sada, 2 FF £14 and vinnies £6 = £20
    In sainsbobs. 2 FF £8 and vinnies £4 = £12

    APG is £20v£10.80 (£12 less 10%) so £9.20

Thank you for explaining Awesome User :T

    Morning all,

Still raining here in Teesside:(. Off to the seaside for the weekly auction. Still headachy and coughing a lot but have loaded up with paracetamol and cough medicine. Don't want to keep coughing during the auction as I might end up buying more than I bargained for:rotfl:
Got my list from DW. Today I,ll be mostly bidding on bone china tea sets and cake stands.

Might pop into a sada on the way back this afternoon;)
    Awaiting a new sig
  • Morning everyone

Haven't been about much in the last week as I've had a death in the family, and can't pick up the enthusiasm to read back, but i've just put through a womble i picked up yesterday from Sada and it shows a couple of good comparisons against Morrisons if anyone's looking for a Morrison shop.
Original Source Moisturising Handwash - Vanilla Mi.. £2.20/£1.10
Aquafresh Extreme Clean 3 - Way Head Medium Toothbru... £2/£1
