The shop assistant was lovely. She just said she had to get it checked as it was over £10, £10.02 to be exact.
Person who came to check it was my own personal trout. She was the one I had trouble with when the big glitch was on.
Tonight she took my receipt to photocopy it but stopped on route for a chat with another member of staff. Didn't say a word to me, just wafted off with my receipt. After waiting over 15 minutes I left. I'd already missed one bus, I didn't plan on missing another.

I know you probably don't want to raise your profile but that is taking the proverbial.
Call to HO is in order I think
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(

was £99.00 now £74.00 dont mind paying the full price as it will be with vouchers and son will be well impressed come christmas, so big thanks x

I believe that the receipt belongs to you and they have no right to take it off you for any reason. I would ask for another receipt when you go in next time. Tesco can always provide another receipt as long as you know when you shopped, the amount and the till no. I am sure Asda can do the same. I think these assistants make it up as they go along.

SA was lovely, it was the person who comes to check who took it. I only have 2 A's near me, this one and a tiny one that used to be a netto. As I don't drive I can't go anywhere else so don't want to raise my profile any more than I have to.
  • How is it possible that someone from the upmarket county of leafy Surrey is more than 90% tight, but a certain vertically challenged chubby Scotsman in Sussex is only 52% tight? You must be an incredibly serious mse'er, or both of your parents must be Scottish and their parents and their grandparents and their great grandparents and their great, great grandparents!!!:):):)

    I am 1/8 th Scottish :)

And if you think we can afford to live in Surrey without being extremely tight, then you must try living here sometime :rotfl::rotfl:
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I have an APG from a MT and Thornton shop. If I go back and buy the same basket again and use the APG will I face issues? Little new to this...

returned some MTs today as I didnt trigger an APG on first attempt. Went back to the shelves after refund but couldnt find anymore so sheepishly went back to customer service and asked for them out of the return box.

picked up two receipts > 40 on the way out too

oh i do love a quick learner!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
