But you weren't willing to let him find out the hard way
I remember twice, just as Sunderland's was going to be on tv, when we lost service, once due to me not paying the bill when times were hard, and another when I cancelled before knowing they were going to be on   World War III nearly broke out - like Mr Lala, Mr 3Dogs would accept most things but not losing Sky just as his team were going to play live
Much grovelling on phone and service resumed in time to catch most of the match both times
I am currently paying £57.50 for Sky+HD with Sports, no Movies   Mr 3Dogs wanted the HD whereas I couldn't see the difference :rotfl: I really should get around to changing the package or cancelling it all together, but it is actually Sky+ that I would miss mostPausing TV to nip to the loo or get a drink, or when on the phone. I watch very little sport as it's just not the same watching it without Alan
though I have enjoyed the little bit of the cricket I have watched this weekend :j I would cancel Sky and get BT Vision but I would need to get an aerial fitted first as we only have the sky dish, adn, as usual, I just haven't got round to it
We have just cancelled sky and bought an Humax freesat box that records and pauses etc , in fact it does the same as a sky+ box and works off the same dish , no more monthly payments.

I have made sure there was someone in all day to receive a delivery that was due to be redelivered after we had an empty house for half an hour on Friday :eek:
Just wasted a whole day - delivery turned up ten minutes ago
You guessed it - Yodel #
Nothing compared to Tiger, Logie and Bubbs, but just wanted to let off some steam.
Good luck for tomorrow by the way Logie. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I just watched Bubbs link to the flooding, must be so difficult watching the water rise knowing you can do nothing. One question, the site website talks of holiday homes - how many people live there as their main home?
It is difficult, but you cant stop water !
About 1000 vans havee people living there as their main home but think there is about 1600 vans in total[/QUOTE]
Awful, awful, will send prayers for you all xx0 -
It was contolled flooding on friday, we went in escorted on sat qued for 1 hr 20 min for 5 mins getting stuff.
Yesterday we went in the back way to look at the river (cause in that clip you can actualy see my van) so not far from the river, but it had dropped about 2 foot.
Today when we went work had to go past the site and the roads were flooded and this is about 2 miles from where we are so thought it was odd, thats when we decided to go and have another look the back way when we was on our way home and this is what was happening!!
Oh dearis it just a waiting game then? That's terrible. I guess it's times like this that we realise the little things we sometimes take for granted. I must say, I'm very impressed with your positivity

Typical. I've lost count of the amount of times this has happened to me, sometimes I think they sit and watch and wait for us to go out :mad:May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155
