TrulyMadly, have made your red onion chutney this afternoon. It tastes absolutely lovely. Do you use the standard cup measure or guesstimate? I googled the measure and got 750ml of liquid and 675ml of dry goods. It seems a bit runny (doesn't detract from the taste at all), is it trial and error? Thanks so much for posting the recipe.:T:T:T:T:T

    Hi MKS,

Sorry just picked this up. I just guesstimate I'm afraid but if I thought it was too runny I would probably let it simmer until the juices thickened. If it is still runny why not just heat it up and use it as a sauce for chops or sausages:)

Thanks for that I must have misunderstood x

A lot of folks get thrown by it. 2for1, 3for2, 5for4 etc don't compare on APG

Whereas '2 for £1' or '2 for £3' (basically any 'X for £Y' deals) does work

This might be very obvious, but where is everyone getting the A's £5 off £40? Is this mostly by spending £40 in A's or are people having more luck with the wombling than me.

Luck my dear- what is your nearest sada?

    Hi Bubbs
I grew up in Bedford then spent many years living in Clapham on the A6.
My mum is from Northampton and my Dads family are Billings and once had land in your area, also a farm in Lavingdon. I am now down on south coast near Folkestone. My boys still live in Clapham so visit frequently.
I must admit I do love living near the coast now. Mum moved her 24 years ago and I followed when I met now ex husband.
I remember 98 as Clapham high street flooded. Later that year I bought a house on the high street and insurers noted that there was a 'small chance of flooding from stream at the bottom of the garden'. That stream was the Great River Ouse!:rotfl:
Many memories of sundays out to Billing areodrome.

Hope you get home and sorted. As you rightly said. Its only stuff and replaceable but still I bet its annoying. Lucky your home wasn't flooded as photos and things are not so easily replaced.

Talking of the general area hope Tigerwhite and cubs are ok as she has not been on for a while. I always take note of her posts and available triggers as she shares superstores with my dd.

How lovely by the sea, im from Broughton orginally and then when i met dh moved to Kettering and been at Billing 6 1/2 years.
Mum and dad are Northampton people.
