  • Ha Ha, glad you found it funny :D. Just got the results from my womble, alas no APG but got my 'fiver' off, think it was mentioned earlier today, the 'fiver' doesn't expire until 31st Dec so plenty of time to use it.

If you're doing a shop in Mr T vs A, below prices from the womble may help, particularly if you're after a fuel voucher when buying dairy - 1st price A, 2nd price Mr T

    1 x Nestle Rolo Chocolate Dessert (4x70g)£0.90 £1.78
    1 x Uncle Ben's Express Special Fried Rice (250g)£0.90 £1.69
    1 x McVitie's Baked Mini Cheddars Original (15x25g)£1.80 £3.99
1 x Cathedral City Extra Mature Cheddar (350g)£1.80 £4.50
    1 x Walkers Sensations Vintage Cheddar & Onion Chutney...£0.90 £1.99

    :):):)

Good for a petrol voucher in tesco though £4.50 342 but get £5 back on tpp plus the petrol voucher :)
btw does anyone know how long this petrol promotion runs please?
    tia

Did a stacked code T shop including 2 x Cathedral Ex Mat for a petrol voucher. Waiting for my PP with interest as the picker actually gave me 3 because of the 3 for 2 offer but my invoice still says just 2. Quite impressed actually with the picker though, making sure I got the offer :)

If you still have the details of the receipt can you not just print off the comparison results - just in case you do need them further down the line?

Clothing doesn't appear on the comparison results. Luckily the blouse only cost me £3 in the sale.
I usually rip my receipt up after I've used the voucher unless there are any non food items on it that I need to keep the receipt for.

In my experience, it depends on the sa. Some take more notice than others. Young male sa's seem to be the best bet when you want to use an apg with no fuss :)

I tend to go to young ladies and tell them "That's a charming blouse you have on" or "I like your hairdo, it looks rather smashing, how did you do it". Totally blanks them out.

Older ladies are generally awful and will do almost anything to not let you use the apg voucher. One made me stand at the side with my shopping like a naughty school kid until the supervisor checked with the cs desk. Sooooo awkward!
  • clearly they aren't buying the same mutibuy products that we've been buying then! :D
