I know, really glad for you :), was so sad when he left my beloved spurs :(

Will he be "the one" ? He says he'll try his best so I think even he is daunted by the task

    The cove is blue.:j:j:j:j:j

I'm always glad to hear the cove is blue, it saddens me to think of it when it is red, I can't bring myself to watch the video, sometimes just your descriptions of what has happened/happening is more than enough. I can't understand how in this day and age this can be allowed to happen.

Mind you there are a lot of things I don't understand how we as a planet can allow this to happen either:-

    http://www.wateraid.org/uk/what_we_do/the_need/disease/default.asp

"Over a billion people in the world do not have access to safe water and over two billion lack adequate sanitation. As a result 5000 children die every day"

    Morning all

Cold and crisp here this morning, nice blue sky though :)

The locks on my car have gone nuts, press the button and it locks and then it snaps back open again, does the same when you try and do it with the key in the door in and you can't lock the passenger doors from the inside either, dunno what that's all about  Will probably need to get it looked at, don't really have the spare cash for it, but I can't really have a car that doesn't lock...

Going to go for a wee wander round the shops later, DD wants to go to the Green Shop so who am I argue ;) :rotfl:

It could be the cold that's affecting the locks, I would try getting some WD40 into the mechanisms. If it is the key, my previous one for a vauxhall astra pulled apart, try to google how to change the key battery for your car.
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.
  • Hi all on this wild and wet weekend :)
Just been browsing for some cheap lager for our Christmas cabinet, and found this at Waitrose:
Bavaria Premium Lager 4 pack (4 x 330ml) currently £3 for 2 packs. Then use the £1 off voucher in the November issue of Waitrose kitchen mag (free with your mywaitrose card) and you get 8 bottles of lager for £2 - or £1 if you have 2 magazines.

Up at 7.30am today....and it was my day off.

Got a few days of annual leave next week. So should have a good time then. ;)

Dragged my boyfriend out of bed too; it had to be done...we had a major money saving hour.

Went to Lidl first and got 2 free advent calendars. Here's the link for those who don't know: http://www.etracker.de/lnkcnt.php?et=v8Kq6V&lnkname=FB_NL_pdfdownload&url=http://www.enc99-eu.com/index.php/eng/content/download/2103/49299/file/Lidl_Coupon_UK.pdf

Also got 5kg of onions for 99p and 12 packs of sliced cheddar cheese (200g) @ 49p per pack.

Then went to co-op and got 2 x Fairy Non-Bio washing powders for free. Here's the link: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/bargains-deals-discounts/shop-scan-save

Also bought the hamper deal. 24 hampers worth £30 each; delivered to any address in the UK (not NI though :() for a total of £100.
