That should be fine. St Davids will start to get busy after 10am, but upper levels should still be ok for parking. John Lewis will be rammed by 10am.

A little trick to get back out quicker - go to 1st floor and get in lift down to ground floor, then stay in to get back up to whichever floor you parked on. The lifts are slow and the queue on the ground floor is ridiculous.

Expect to pay around £7 for the parking though (unless you eat quickly :) )

The NCP on Westgate Street is even more expensive and would be a b*tch to get out of later on. Cardiff Central is also close but they only let you pay a day rate of £9. They don't charge per hour at all.

Thank you very much, don't suppose you also have directions to St.Mary street from the centre - need to get to viva brazil which is apparently near walkabout bar. I have googled and route mapped but not my strong point lol. Now if it were a T or an A I was heading for I seem to have built in radar.

Morning all, I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend.

I would like to ask a question if I may. Does anybody know of any deals on the Ipad 3. I was hoping to buy one for DH for christmas. I know it is not going to be cheap but "every little helps" when it comes to savings.

    Thank you x

  • Morning all! :j
woke up with a head full of cold... but we still hit the shops!

Here's the rundown of our morning:
Lidl advent calendars - success! vouchers didn't scan, but they were polite as anything and super helpful. :T

Sainsbobs- refused my safe coupon for a 'love pot' free pudding thing. Had my name on it and they just point blank said no safe coupons. Not impressed.

Thorntons - lovely lollies for the whole family! :T

no new T's mags by us... but I did notice some prices have gone up - my favourite boxed passata that was always 29p is up to 44 :( and bertolli spread 500g is bogof... not sure if the coupon for that is still around or valid. I bought it for baking.

Miss L. I love these sprinkles- they make me think of gently floating snowmen :)

we have these self scan things, and I have used it a dozen times and EVERY time I am asked to do a rescan. ! I don't have a problem with being rescanned, just takes all the time saving out of it (but doesn't take the fun out of checking prices! )
mine to. had a go at the start of the week, it was fun and so much quicker to checkout. the first time you do it a member of staff has to do a check of your shopping at the till.
    Morning all

Didn't manage to get the 1p shoes yesterday, only got as far as getting a pair in my basket but couldn't proceed to pay...had an auto generated email later from Internacionale saying ''you've got items waiting for you in your basket''

So, logged back in and went back to the basket but all sold out (as I already knew)

Sent off an email to Int complaining about the rubbish shopping experience (not expecting anything back) - they replied saying they've credited my account with GBP5.00 :eek:
I had my order cancelled and rang up - they gave me £5 as well and I got some very festive socks with it! :T

Sorry for the long post! Have a good weekend elite! :T

    good morning everyone :D

hoping these dont come out too big....heres the BS card I got yesterday with my order.....after reading the back of the card, I think they must be colour coded as theres nothing to swipe or codes to enter, so not sure how the staff would know whats its worth unless its say red card worth £3, yellow card worth £15 etc...

eta....just noticed the 'store code' on the back of the card :)

oops, manners, good morning elite :)

day off work today as we were meant to be going to a birthday party but my dd has had a very icky tummy.

I used to love ikea but then they stopped selling the veggie hotdogs :(
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79
