A word of caution for people getting just 1 sprout as aprt of their fillers. Helpful sa's sometimes seem to think you are too hard up to buy stuff and stick them in your bag without scanning them - just to be helpful!

I nearly had a pp ruined this way (and to be fair, I actually had 3 sprouts in the bag as I had felt bad about putting 1 through!)

lol so true! That's the beauty of self scan though - I put all my single veg/fruit into the one bag and then just weigh them one at a time myself and no one is any the wiser (well apart from the SS supervisor who's probably watching every move on their screen and thinking poor sod .....) :rotfl:

Yesterday I got dtd on the extra large chickens, yellow sel said half price (£2.25 per kg) but still full price on the chickens (£4.50 per kg). These were in the normal aisle, not on the end of aisle display. There were lots of the medium and large ones as well. HTH

They had these in the fresh aisle in my local, half price on the yellow sel, but full price in the birds label. I think they thought by crossing out the £4.50 a kilo part on the label they are safe but a 2kg bird at £9.00 on the price part is still £4.50 a kilo and is prime target for free chicken. I'll call in after work, I'm going to enjoy this one!
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.
