Aviva's miscalculated loyalty bonus

Aviva's miscalculated loyalty bonus of £64.67 for a 20 year FSAVC on 12th September then recalculated on 3rd October to £1227.94, still inaccurate has caused considerable distress and alarm. As a direct consequence of the delay in processing and finalising the transfer value to Canada Life, this individual has a financial loss of £927.21. Final transfer Figures quoted between 12th September - 1st November are also spurious and suggest fiscal incompetency. On 12th September transfer value quoted £26,614, on 3rd October £26,533.70, on the 22nd October £26,105.04. FINAL AMOUNT transferred to Canada Life £25,649.78. I am at a complete loss to explain the finacial irregularity and the complete mismanagement and systemic failure of Aviva in settling an important pensions policy. Advice please?

If you are not happy with their service then make a complaint. Aviva are very prone to errors but are usually very good at dealing with them and putting things right. You just need to get past the front line telephone service. So, complain and that will happen.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such.
