Hi - back again - but I have done some ironing! Gradually ticking things off my list so feeling quite virtuous! Going to have some lunch and try and do some more ironing BEFORE I come back on here!

Yes - it's quite difficult making the house look cared-for when you've been on here all day! Perhaps someone could start a new thread to help people like us. 'How to make the house look like Anthea's when you've neglected if for weeks!' and, also, 'How to make the other members of the family look as if you've spent all day just pandering to their needs!' Tips, anyone?

I did try and stay away, honest! In fact, I think it's been at least an hour! Have ironed two more things - only nine hundred and eighty more to go and I have photographed and written out descriptions for eight things I'm listing on eBay tomorrow (10p listing tomorrow!) AND I've scrubbed potatoes for jacket spuds tonight - it was going to be mash but where on earth can I find the time to peel? I've just been SO busy - does that sound convincing enough to say to my OH when he comes home after a very long day kitchen-fitting?

Right it's been an hour... you back yet or has the mountain of washing collapsed on top of you *imagining muffled cries from under 50 half ironed shirts*

I do occasionally do some work whilst reading, posting and generally surfing MSE. Not often, but it does happen. Good thing that my 'job' is basically Ebaying at the moment.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
