I got the "Girl Talk" magazine for my daughter as she loves Lego Friends. I noticed it was available in the Co-op, WHSmith and Sainsburys on my local High Street, but I got it from WHSmith as I had a 20% discount voucher from a previous purchase and was delighted to find it was valid on magazines! So instead of £2.60 I paid £2.08. I was also given another 20% discount voucher! :j

Today I've been to 4 big ASDAs, 3 Morrisons, 2 Tesco Extras and 2 WHSmiths. All sold out. Went to my local Tesco Express which is teeny for work coffee and bam found one copy left with lego :j, bonus was the cashier only charged me for the coffee and the mag didnt scan! Only noticed when back in car!

Last copy in my area and free - Get IN :beer:
  • This is free with the latest Issue of Girl Talk (£2.60)

Lego Friends Emma's Ice Cream Stand 30106

The 'bagged' magazine has yellow sticker on front saying it's got free lego with it - some newsagents don't have the lego version but seems most supermarkets do

Just got this from Tesco, the magazine is dated 6-19 March and noticed in the toy department that the small Friends boxes had been reduced to £2.25. The only one they had was Kate and the jetski, but the SEL indicated all varieties were reduced.

Hmmm...I'm really pleased that you got this for free, but surely in your pursuit of this mag, having driven to 11 shops, your petrol expenditure will have cost more than buying a set from the shop?
    Tesco is my second home

Managed to get the mag this morning for my daughter from Tescos, after Asda had none last night. Trouble is she now loves the mag and wants it every week lol

Nope, I was passing all the shops to and from work so same fuel costs. In fact I walked from work to 4 shops in my lunch break. I'm lucky that where I work I have all these shops en route! :D

Hi everyone, Only just found this thread... we're big fans of Lego Friends and I only have girls so this is perfect!

These may be store specific but my local Tesco Metro had Friends sets 3939 Mias Bedroom http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Friends...3450316&sr=1-1 and 3937 Olivia's speedboat http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Friends...3450361&sr=1-1 at £4.75 from £10 this morning I'm afraid I bought all 3 remaining but it might be worth trying your local Tesco Metro.

Apparently DH saw them on thursday when there were about a dozen in stock but forgot to tell me until late last night !!!!! but at least I got enough as gifts for the next 3 parties on our calendar.

Checked out my nearest Tesco superstore and huge Tesco Extra and no reduced friends sets.

I hope this is of help to someone
