Anyone used these people? They showed up in my job hunt, for some reason, and I did a little digging (well, top-soil trowel-ing). We seem to be looking at a too good to be true/receive ALL the spam sort of scenario.
For a start, your meant to be product testing:
A brand new PS3 with Assassins Creed 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, FIFA 2013 OR 5 toys from Hamleys popular toys list 2012 OR Shopping vouchers for high street brands
Now forgive me if I'm wrong, but those are /already popular/. They don't need further product testing (also vouchers? product testing vouchers is a new one on me, isn't that just specialized mystery shopping?)
Then the fact that you get to keep what you tested (a free PS3 and expensive games? IDon'tThinkSo!)
Under 'use of Personal Information' they state:

The 'if' made me anxious. Give us all your details, then maybe you'll get a shiny.Enter your details and complete all the questions to qualify If you are chosen you will be contacted by email or phone
When the hell did sites with names like 'Free20Quid' come into this?Upon completion of the survey we will automically create you with a reward account at Free20Quid.com crediting you with £20.
Under 'use of Personal Information' they state:
Ooh dear! They go on with:- Pass on to selected companies to provide you with offers and promotions
- Help other companies profile and extend their databases
- Facilitate communication between yourself and others
So, spam galore no matter what you do. also the 'revenue collection' bit makes me anxious. Isn't that a crafty way of telling you they can /sell/ your data?Submission Technology and its clients or sponsors may contact you with offers and information which they feel will be of interest to you through mail, telephone, SMS or email. I have vague memories of a similar 'opportunity' being mentioned here, and yes, it seems to be just a way of getting personal information about people who have certain interests. This information will be sold to companies that will try to sell you things.
You seem to have picked up all the red flags: I would give them a miss!Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

and, joy of joys they're trying to infer they've got something to do with ASDA, via an advert on the friday-ad.0

I can tell you that YES, they are dodgy. I spent months waiting to test an iPad, then received several e-mails saying I had been chosen to test an iPhone 5 then got sent several more e-mails saying there was an error and I had been shortlisted to test an iPhone. When I mentioned it on their facebook page, they banned me! And I STILL get spam from them!0

I have never use this company, so not sure if they are dodgy... I am always a bit worried about signing up to product testing sites!! You just never know which ones are good and which ones aren't! I stick to a few that I have used for ages and are always good. One of the main ones i use is 'paidproducttesting' - never had any problems with them so far. 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!0 -
Everyone seems to end up with cold callers, I got some after registering with a paid offers site. To make them less of a nuisance I have fun winding them up; begging them for heroin, talking about what was on TV last night, or getting sexy. Make them hang up on you!0
