Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has some words of advice... I have an Egg visa card with £500 outstanding, which I paid off today. Rafter, where did you get this information? According to the CRA's any company searching your credit file must inform the customer and all credit searches are recorded.

Credit agreements are worded to the effect that searches will be carried out during the application process and may be carried out in the future if you change your limit.
