just called paypal...on my way!

Hi all...after seemingly endless months of sleepless nights and stress finally have made the phone calls today...firstly to the National Debtline and then to Paypal. Paypal have arranged an advisor to phone me back tomorrow and after that something will be definitely sorted...I have amassed around £45,000worth of debt from a vicious circle of borrowing to live etc during and after a business failure four years ago and it has just spiralled up and up. Both the National Debtline and Paypla were very knowledgeable and efficient and non judgemental and were excellent...I felt nervous and ashamed before both calls, not wanting to discuss my private business with strangers etc but feel better already even though nothing has been sorted for certain as yet...

My wife knew I had some problems but I hadnt really discussed it properly with her or told her the extent, another worry, that she would think less of me etc. Have told her of the implications of an IVA which is what I may be heading towards and she was very understanding and supportive...another weight off...sometimes what you imagine is alot worse than it ever is..

Paypal are calling me at 11 tomorrow morning...so wish me luck! and all the best to you all who are either worried about their debt or are now trying or have taken action...

Phew, I'm glad we sorted out the PayPal mixup, I was thinking there that maybe someone could run up a debt with PalPal, then was worried that I hadn't checked my paypal account in months and maybe it could have been hacked into and a debt run up without my knowledge.

Strange the way your mind works - it jumps from one conclusion to the next until you're in a mild panic!
