Yes I know. It does seem a bit ridiculous, but then the demand wouldn't be there if they always had plenty! I was commenting on the fact that the other poster had referred to people who had bought them promptly as being greedy, when this is not necessarily the case.

I was up all night checking (as had a poorly dd) and there was nothing at midnight, checked again at 3am and nothing, not happy now the are out of stock.

Last year I was the second person to arrive at our store. The lady in front bought 6 girls, leaving just 1 girl and half a dozen boy gingerbreads. They had more outfits in store than they had gingerbread people. Strange.

i managed to get 2. one of each for son and niece, i added them to my basket just after midnight, went straight to checkout and hung about til the code was sent and bought them at quarter to 1, think i really must have gotten lucky considering i waited so long.

although to be fair, i did think the gingerbread ones last year were cuter, but wasnt lucky enough to get one.

hope everyone waiting manages to get one, its just wait and see for me for whether mine get delivered

Build a bear have honoured the discount. So very happy. Sorry to disappoint the people who were hoping they wouldn't.

Just been in store, only intended to purchase four for my neice and nephew then dh decided he wanted some for this godchildren so we ended up with 8! We only brought two outfits as sister had paid me to pick these up. As we had spent £25 we got a £10 gift card for price of £5, we brought two of these and got outfits for all the others for £4. I thought this was a good deal. Hth

Sent hubby out for these whilst he did the school run and he has just got home with two girls, one each for our daughter and niece, and two boys, for our two godsons. They are gorgeous! Lovely quality, they had the gingerbreads last year and all still take them to bed every night so hopefully they will be happy with these :-) they didn't put them in boxes though and they had not loaded the penguin onto the system so he was unable to do birth certificates :-( xx

I got my kids theirs about 2am... the joys of being an insomniac.

I text my sister this morning and she got 2 earlier on, about 6am or so. She said there was only the girls outfit showing, but checked again a few minutes later and got the pair and the girls outfit - but the boys was showing ops. I've just checked now and only the boy outfit is showing in stock?!

Basically, keep popping back and try. You may find them available in dribs and drabs
