Just wondering are the Lidl chocolate santas etc as nice as the Lindt ones?
Thinking of buying the cheaper version but don't want to waste money if they don't taste good.
Thanks

Lindt is good. Or you can think of making one yourself with modelling chocolate, its damn easy. You get molds and modelling chocolate easily.Busy Making Xmas Cupcakes!0

Buy one, try it in the car park. If you like it and it's up to standard, nip back and buy as many as you need. And then a couple more just to be on the safe side!
I bought in Aldi a couple of years ago enough small square, individually wrapped chocolates from a continental supplier to give my sprogs one a day over the advent period - cheaper, and far nicer than the rubbish you get in advent calendars. They went down Very Well Indeed!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -

Aldi have a chocolate brand called Moser Roth (umlauts in there somewhere but forget where!), which is actually really good quality. I buy the packs of five small bars which are about 1.09 and look really rather posh. Today I got 85% cocoa, 70% cocoa, orange and almond and a caramel one and they are delish. I then noticed they also do Moser Roth santas so I'm assuming these would be good too. HTHMake £2012 in 2012 member #88
