Lurpak Spreadable 1kg - £3 at Asda

Called into Adsa yesterday and noticed that they had the Lurpak spreadable butter 1kg tubs for £3, which is a bit of a bargain considering that the 500g tubs are currently £2.98/£3 elsewhere. The one I picked up had a fairly long date (31/12/12) so it's a good deal to stock up for Christmas!

Less than 6 weeks is not a long date. Are you sure about the date?

Is that the use by date or best before date? Sounds like a good offer.

I normally try and buy it when its on offer and put it in the freezer.

might go a bit mad, as I have got loads of room in the freezer:D

I havent see the kg tubs this low in price, so well worth stocking up

Was this the organic spreadable Lurpak as well do you know please as OH likes that and has one stashed in the fridge at work.

They only had the big tubs of salted spreadable at the Asda I visited, but it's not a big store. However, having looked online it looks like it's only the salted and lighter salted.
