If they want me to use bags with their logo on, they'll have to pay me for advertising their company!! I certainly won't be paying THEM!!!
And nope, I don't buy anything with a logo on!!

    Ok calm down dear :D

LOL, i am so glad it isn't just me.
I lay in bed the other night and i had been wrapping in my room and putting the presents into the bags.
They were all beside my bed ready to go downstairs and i could smell them, in the end i had to get up and take them down as i couldn't stand the smell any longer.:rotfl:

    Still lovely bags though.

Got to agree they smell a little oily, but they really are good value and well made - Id still recommend them:T
Im filling them with goodies and giving them as hampers - you can actualy get alot in the bigger bags and they look really impressive - ive made my hampers in past using Laundry and log baskets from Home Products at cromford in derbyshire, (great value and good quality )and they have always been a huge hit. Im sure these will also.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

Nothing to do with egos, more to do with clever marketing of their company via a useful, attractive and reasonably priced item.
  • Each to his own.
To me they look like a freebie promotional giveaway item.
  • Can I ask those who have already got them, the cute jute is a smaller bag would it still fit a bottle of wine and some chocolates or is it to small for that?
    With thanks

Yes it would, have used them as gift bags for the parents & they hold quite a bit - tins/biscuits/treats etc :D

What, not even an extra large, extra strong, 69p MEGA Value Sports Direct bag? In all seriousness, I've found these are ideal for transporting Christmas presents in.

Lol I'm guessing that Barbapapa doesn't drink from one of those oversized Sports Direct mugs either! :)

I think I'd find it pretty difficult to avoid using branded bags etc with logos emblazoned on them but thankfully it doesn't usually bother me.

I'm also going to use my Seasalt shoppers for transporting presents and my family members can then take them home and reuse them. (Naturally I'll have to buy myself more bags later, next time there's free p&p!)
