Yesterday was a no-spend day.:) Today won't be unfortunately:( but I should still come in under budget this week.
Forgot to put the ham on yesterday so I will do that today. I like to add some for additional flavour to soups.
I managed to get all the laundry away yesterday. I have some "old" ironing to do so will tackle that in front of the TV or a DVD this evening.
I finished the washing up yesterday and cleared the sink area so i had a clear spot ready for today - already started to fill up, but I will make sure it's clear before I go to bed every night.
Laundry going, heating off. I'm lunching with a friend to day and will have a good long walk beforehand. Really looking forward to a good stretch.:)£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28

Haven't posted for a while because of personal matters, but I'm now hoping to get back on track for the new year.
I've joined some of the challenges on this site which will help my finances.
I've joined the decluttering thread, and the frump to fabulous thread.
I've started my pre-course reading.
Garden still needs doing, house still needs work and I have enough little jobs to do to keep my busy for a year.
Anyway if anyone reads this, Happy 2013£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28

Well i've made some progress:
I've kept to my frump to fab challenge for the week; I've worn perfume every day so far, done my tai chi exercises, drunk more water and styled my hair after washing it. i want these to become permanent health and grooming habits.
I've planned my meals for the week - if i don't eat the planned meal on the day because I'm not hungry, the plan will simply move back a day. I will not pick up a takeaway because i don't fancy what i planned and I wan't throw food away.
I will carry on saving £2 and 20p coins. I haven't shopped this week so I haven't had any, but as my groceries will be paid for in cash I hope to achieve my targets. I am reducing my grocery challenge target by a small amount each month until I can live comfortably without waste.
I am starting a new Old Style skill each week - this week it is the Tai Chi - I will only pay for a class if I can do the exercises every day for a week. next week i want to do a sewing skill.
I have started decluttering my papers, and also been shredding as I go. I've sorted a couple of clothes for the rag bag and started my ironing and mending pile.
Today I've done a load of laundry and some course reading. Will walk to the shop later for a couple of items. I am going to clean my windows and bleed one of my radiators later.
The weather forecast is for some dry days so I plan to get out more. I have lots of work to do in the garden and hope to have some long walks too.
I have decided to leave the job hunt until after Easter unless something really good comes along. I am going to put every effort into my course. I am very lucky that I can do this but will need to review my budget.
I do go on don't I? It's just that I feel so much more positive about things.

Didn't get the rads or windows done as my friend came round and we had a lovely chatty time.
Couldn't sleep last night so sorted some papers and did an hour of study.
Plenty to do today, but lots of time for breaks outside.£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28

I agree BeanieLou.
At first I was thinking about all I had planned to do, but there isn't a deadline for those jobs. My friend has 2 children and works so she has very little spare time.
We are going to try to meet up every week for an hour or so. It will be good for both of us.:)£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28

Can't sleep again. I'm not worried, hungry or thirsty so I will just make the most of the time and do a bit of paper decluttering.
I'll leave the shredding to a more reasonable hour:rotfl:
Radiators, windows on the list for today; some study and a long walk. I am going to make some more soup and perhaps some soda bread.
I have made a list of jobs that I cannot do myself - need some plumbing work doing etc so i will plan them for when i have the cash.£2 Savers Club 2013 - £28
