    Hi Belfast

If you ever have these desperate thoughts again just say to yourself:

"I can't leave my kiddies. Nobody would love them as much as I do. They need me and I am not a traitor".

So whatever happens, just hang on, it will be better, it always does!

    Hi

    Welcome to DFW.

If you are on a DMP, then you should have enough to live off and keep warm, so it sounds like you need to review your Statement of Affiars. If you post it up, see here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280 for how to do it, people can help you identify areas wherw you can make savings by changing supppliers and maybe doing so via www.quidco to get cashbacks, or advise where you are not allowing enough.

The other things to think about are looking at the Money Saving Old Style forum for ideas on saving all sorts of ways, this sticky http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280with loads of ideas on pay for clicks, survey and other sites where you can earn small amounts of get vouchers to make life more bearable.

Also look at the freebies forum and explore www.freecycle.org. Join your local group, it is like e-bay but people give stuff away free. Al of these will help make life a bit more bearable.

    take care.

Don't forget pigsback for free vouchers so you can treat yourself, I think you need to and also the freebies section where you can send off for lots of bits and pieces that can make life a little nicer. Or you can sell them on ebay for a little extra cash.

Pigsback info on the freebies section.

Don't despair, this is only a small part of your life experience, it won't go on forever. These are for you :hello:  :grouphug: xx

It matters not if you try and fail,
And fail, and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, And fail to try again.
  • Another hug from across the water. I can only echo what others have said - we can sympathise with your worries over money. If ever you need someone to talk to, or just want to vent your spleen, then do it here among people who know exactly what impact money worries can have.

I too have written to Natwest to ask them to consider cancelling a proposed £38 charge on my account as a goodwill gesture. They can only say no.

For little treats, I do Valued Opinions surveys. I usually get a tenner every few months or so in HMV vouchers which gives me a guilt-free chance to go to town and get a DVD or something. A very small thing I know, but the smile lasts for ages!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
