I am quite into arts and crafts and interested in having a go at selling some things locally perhaps at christmas fayres etc.
However....Am I alowed to use fonts etc from microsoft word (say, for example inside a card) and then sell these items on or is it only for 'home use'?
I don't want to get into any trouble! Thanks

I don't think there would be an issue there!0

It depends on the font - most of the fonts that come with Microsoft Windows are free for commercial use, but you might have picked up or installed some fonts with more restrictive licenses. For instance, if you want to use Helvetica, you'll have to license it from Linotype.

Try dafont.com
Lots of fonts available, just look for 'free'. If you find one you really like there are some that charge a small fee for commercial use, but once it's paid it's paid (mine a fiver) and you can use it to death. Good if you want to build a brand (think Cadburys with that font and that purple, no mistaking it)0
