Re-mortgage for debt consolidation

I am wanting to remortgage and take out some additional borrowing to clear some credit card debt. The additional borrowing will take me over 75%LTV which I understand is the maximum many lenders will go to for debt consolidation. My current lender (Santander) will not help so I am willing to remortgage if I can find someone who will go to, say 85%. Does anybody know if this impossible and if so which lenders would do this?

It is possible, but some lenders would rule out debt consolidation for chunky debt as they believe it is a pattern.
Leave alone HSBC, First Direct, Santander (you know this) Co-Op, Leeds, Britannia...
