Simple to use book keeping tool

Hi to you all

Please be gentle with me guys..as I'm new.
I have just started my own part time business (within the last fortnight) and have absolutely no idea where to find some simple to use book keeping software or online tool.
Can someone please help?
It doesn't need to be very in depth..I just need it to keep accounts, really.
Many thanks.

If you need to track VAT then I would recommend to start at Quickbooks Regular, can't imagine you would need pro and payroll for now....

But if you don't need to track VAT you could check out the business start option which is only £35 pounds and to me look very easy to use...

try https://www.winweb.co.uk - basic online package is free and it deals with VAT, invoicing, etc.

    That's very interesting indeed WHA...

I've got to admit that I am a little apprehensive storing my data online for free with someone I've never heard off...Whilst it is looking good what guarantees would there be to access your data in case of failure, bankruptcy, or just a missing trader...Not saying they will, just highlighting some risks of an ASP solution....

Duh! Should have looked better before commenting, noticed that it has backup but more importantly data export facilities....Still a pain to read the data without the software in case of a disaster...
