If you had ever tasted it - you would never buy it!
I found the smell was off putting enough.0 -
If you use them daily and wish to continue using them, why not just refil them with robinsons juice diluted with water, much cheaper & all the waste it saves. I also use fresh juice personally. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Robinsons Fruit Shoot certainly looks like it's full of healthy strawberry juice, but it only contains 10% juice.
The actual ingredients are: Water, Strawberry juice, Flavouring, Citric acid, Acidity Regulator (Trisodium citrate E331), Preservatives (Potasssium sorbate E202, Dimethyldicarbonate E242, Sodium Benzoate E211), Vitamins (C, Niacin, Pantothenic acid, B6, D, B12), Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesulfame K) Stabiliser (Xanhttp), Colour (Anthocyanins E163):

My friends hubby used to work for Britvic (who make F.S) and said that he wouldn't give them to the dog, they are that full of !!!!!!. (Not that the dog would drink it anyway!) He got offered loads of free ones for his kids but always turned them down. The fruit water ones are ok though.
In answer to a previous question about packed lunch drinks, I give my daughter either orange or apple juice in her packed lunch, or fruit flavoured water (not Robinsons though - too dear!)
Asda or Morrisons own brand is cheap and has no sugar or other nasties, as far as I can tell.
Also overall, the best OJ squashes (dilutable ones) are the cheapest ones - the dearer ones are basically more expensive because there is more rubbish added to them - just because they are labelled sugar free doesn't mean they are sweetener free.
Good post by the OP for those who do drink FS though - my teeth are rotten anyway so if I did actually like the taste of them I'd be off to Asda like a shot!
BTW, friends hubby now works for Diageo who make Baileys! YUM!0 -
Oh sorry, what did I say in my last post?
Who cares? If you don't agree or like them, then hey don't buy them! Simple as..seriously, I know this is an open public forum but no one has actually posted "please can you tell me what your opinion is of the poison liquid form of evil that goes by the name of Fruit Shoot please!"
oooh, don't forget folks, Turkey Twizzlers are also BOGOF too! These combined with the "Liquid Evil" will be like sending your kids for public hanging!

Nothing should stop anyone posting their bargains!
They should be thanked for it.
Thanks by the way:beer:
Discussion / experience of it should always be welcomed.
If its bad fine, nothing to do with the OP, its the product.
Best we all know anyways!
I know diabetics who drank sunny D thinking it was OJ
It was not good!0
