It all worked out in the end - everything now with HL. I find it liberating (and quite enjoyable) deciding myself what to invest my pension in. I have been put off IFA's for life I fear...
Anyway, thanks again to all who pointed me in the right direction.
I think that's called a contradiction in terms. Been helped no end by IFAs, and then says he's been put off them for life. Knows nothing about pensions and is now DIY via HL.
