When did the Portuguese first arrive in Macau?

The competition closes at 23:59 on 29 December 2012.8. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of correct and eligible entries. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. There is one prize of a holiday for two people to Macau with Infinity Holidays including return economy class flights between London and Hong Kong, ferry transfers between Hong Kong and Macau and a four night stay for two adults sharing a Royale Suite at The Venetian Macau Resort on a room only basis. The prize must include a Saturday night and be taken between 01 January and 30 June 2013. From 8-16 February and 23 March to 06 April 2013 are excluded and other blackout dates may apply. It is the responsibility of the prizewinner to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip. Travel is subject to the standard terms and conditions of Infinity Holidays. ATOL protected 4267. ABTA F3935. The prize is subject to availability. If any tax is levied by the Inland Revenue in respect of the award of any prize pursuant to this competition, such tax levied will be the responsibility of, and paid by, the winner to the Inland Revenue.
10. The winner will be notified by phone or email by 4 January 2013.
Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
