The company shouldnt even be talking to you about your parents loan unless they (your parents) have explicitly put this in writing to FirstPlus or a PoA is in force.
Your parents, not you, should put the request in writing to FirstPlus for a legible copy of their agreement. Allow them 2 weeks from posting and then follow up via their complaints procedure if nothing is forthcoming.0 -
My parents were with me when I spoke to them on the phone and the advisor asked to speak to one of them to allow me to proceed.
When you say a legible copy, does that mean it has to be a printed duplicate or could it also be a scan/photocopy?0 -
It can be a scan or photocopy, as long as its legible, which is what your parents need to ask for in the letter.0
