Wikipedia says Johnny Logan won Eurovision twice !!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Logan_(singer)
1980 and 1987Well, you know, my ancestry isn't all hamster.
I'm one-sixteenth wolf with, you know, a little wolverine in there somewhere.0 -
got the following from google
Johnny Logan seems to have a lack in his memory when he says that he entered the Eurovision Song Contest three times and won it three times! The flights might be on time in Terminal 3, but this Irish entry from 1984 seem to have made no greater impact on him, despite the fact that he actually wrote it himself! The song came second, only 8 points behind the actual winner, Herreys from Sweden.
He is right in the number of victories as he won the contest in 1980 with What’s another year and again in 1987 with his own song Hold me now. In 1992 he wrote Why me for Linda Martin which gave Mr. Logan his third victory – but it was indeed his 4th attempt!
so he won it TWICE but has written a winner and a non winner
Even though the correct answer on the page says 1 arghhh and they an irish based site as well lolThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
Modifying mine to say twice until the one with the answer of 1 can be edited.0
