yes she can, this is what my friends have done, and i still received the 500 points.

Just for info, pigsback actually states:

You will get the PiggyPoints the first time your friend spends their PiggyPoints on a reward (excluding charity donations).

Its great that you got them but its worth people knowing what the t&c say just in case!
