I want some new tree decs.....what colour?

Hiya,
Just looking for ideas on what colour to do my tree. It's a green artifice one and I've bought a gorgeous green with white trim fur tree skirt and matching stockings when we were in aMerica last month so what would match?
Want it to look really classy and nice as its in 'our' room... The kids one will be in the other room whi h is 'their' room
Thanks x

Mine are Gold and Cream - had the same colour scheme for around 20yrs. It would now cost me a small fortune (AND some) to replace everything .

Now this is just my own opinion, so please don't shoot me down for it ............. remember to bear your choice of colour scheme in mind when you eventually come to select any lights - you don't want to be spoiling an overall classy effect with multi-coloured lights.

At least plain white lights don't look out of place whether you go for simple colour scheme or crazy-multi-coloured. AND they'll still be useful if you change everything in a couple of years time :D.
  • We have red and silver which I am bored with - I would like purple

We're having "rich" :rotfl: colours this year - purple, red and gold. Not buying anything new, just leaving off all the other colours (we must have bought every colour going over the years).

Definitely white lights only (warm not cool).

  • I have iridescent white and clear. Looks gorgeous when the lights hit it.
