Groupon have an offer on with Sculptures Hair Newtonabby for £54. Is this a good deal or any other salon recommendations ?0

I buy the suff from ebay qod gold. The seller is Vanessa Eddy. It costs about £12 a time. I get someone to do it for me-basically anyone who can work a straightener and has ever used a brush to brush on hair dye. It works really well. I find it better than the hairdressers as it takes so long. I was my hair myself with the pre shampoo and dry it then the helper puts it on and straightens it. I get salt free shampoo online in a litre bottle costs about £10-lasts ages. I redo every 4 months and it works super well and I have super curly hair-think merida from Brave.0

Don't know if it is of any interest but here is an article about BBD which certainly would put me off ( Not that I would know anything about it ), but it did put my daughter off ( for almost a week

I have had the Kerastraight system used on my hair three times now and its very good and not a problem as no formaldehydes in it.0

I've had this done quite a few times now, and would recommend Capelli in Newtownabbey...I've only ever had it done when its been on a Groupon offer and I've paid between £55 - £70 PLUS approx £50 extra for the proper shampoo conditioner serum etc.
The chairs at the sink are massage chairs with foot stools which are very comfortable. The colour scheme is lime green and bright lights...which I dont like so much.

I had my first BBO done in Patrick Mulhollands in Holywood, and bought the Aveda products they recommended, as opposed to the official BBO products. Although the salon was very modern, and the staff professional etc, I only had about 3 weeks of unfrizzy hair. I did revisit the salon at the time because having paid around £150 in total for the treatment and the Aveda products I didnt think 3 weeks was long enough. Perhaps I have really weird hair or something, but they just said that no one else had been back to complain, so personally I WOULDNT recommend this salon for the BBO....but maybe it might have lasted longer had I bought the official products ??
I've also had the straightening treatment done at Hair Ritz in Belfast. It cost £100 PLUS extra for (tiny) bottles of shampoo etc and although I assumed it was the BBO, it turns out it was some other brand...and it DIDNT work...when I went back a few days later to show them my unstraight hair they tried to persude me to try their Japanese (I think) hair straightening system which was guaranteed to work...and which would only cost me an ADDITIONAL £150....yeah right !!! In the end they used another brand/type of straightening treatment which did work....but I dont know what any of the brand names were.
My own hairdresser has recently started doing a L'Oreal hair straightening system which I've booked to have done in January.
Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions and I'll see if I can help.0
