Nexus 7 Back in stock John Lewis

For anyone else wanting to get one of these they have this afternoon come back in stock online. From emails with customer services I believe they have 5000 of these to stock all their stores and online sales so not sure how long they will last.
I know there are deals about at pc world at the moment with cashback when buying a case but the reviews I have seen of the case aren't very good so I'd rather have the 2 year warranty that John Lewis offer and get a case elsewhere.
Hope this helps someone else cross something off the christmas list. :j

Oh man they're already out of stock. How long did it take them to get this last batch in?0

It took quite a while last time for them to come back in I'm not sure if there was a supply problem. If you email customer services and ask them to check if an order has been placed they will get back to you. Also it is worth contacting the stores as some may still have them in stock, they ring you back and let you know even if they haven't. If they have them in stock at a branch not near you they will send them from that store to your home address. HTH0

They're in stock in plenty of other places, and I wouldn't bother waiting for a 2 year warranty. Sale of Goods act says it should last a reasonable amount of time, which I'm sure most reasonable people would say would be 2 years plus.
PC World or Currys is the best deal I know of at the moment, I can't find the 16GB at a decent price. The 32GB is £199. £20 cashback if you buy a case with it. Official Nexus case is £25, but is £15 if bought with a tablet. So that's £214 for tablet plus case, minus £20 cashback, is £194. Sell the case if you like. Use Quidco for another 3% I think.0 -

In theory yes, however the amount of times I have tried to take something back to retailers such as Currys or other big chain electrical and have had to kick up a fuss just for them to take it back and send it off for repairs and whatnot. Whereas with John Lewis, that's never been the case0 -
Ill contact them again and ask if they have any news when more stock is due.0

They basically said they have no idea when some is due in and to constantly check the website.
I would have thought it would be simple for the buyer who deals with electronics to have an idea when the next shipment would be.0 -

Yeah I went in yesterday to a store and got the very helpful lady to check if she had any stock, she checked and goes no they don't have any, and she checked when the next batch would come in in front of me and it came up with a screen that said "Quantity: 0" at the depot0 -
