Lidl has instruments on special offer from today

I am a bit odd in that I have wanted a Ekelele for ages lol-used to play guitar but don't have the time now so hope this will be easier to store and pull out to use, supposed to be easier to learn and its for a bit of fun. This seemed such a good price OH got me one for crimbo. Seems pretty well made for the money was quite surprised. We also got some of the instrument packs and they are proper instruments like they have in schools ie. metal triangle, marracas, tamborines etc.
Looks like we will have a fun noisy crimbo here lol.
Wanted to post as at first glance these look expensive for "toy" insturments and too cheap to be "proper" instruments, but they seem good to me now we have them.
Just managed to play twinkle twinkle and jingle bells (very roughly, but recognisable) for the kids so reckon my eke is a bargain already-I am so sad getting excited by this :rotfl:.

Sadly after watching the news and the issues in the middle east I only wish peace was as easily available RO.
I had forgotten that Royal family episode and I love that, think it will take alot of practice to get that good lol. Will be happy if I can manage a few carols at crimbo-sister is a fab painoist so will probably all have a good old singsong around the piano-sounds like we live in the 1912 not 2012 lol.

Agreed - I can't get away from this twee perception of the ukelele. Having said that, I think it's good to get back to simple gifts rather than technological gadgets.I am a bit odd in that I have wanted a Ekelele for agesValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
