Stocking Filler Ideas

My boyfriend and I are giving each other stockings this year as well as getting presents. I've already spent a fair amount of money on him so want to keep the stocking cost to a minimum. Has anyone got ideas of things I could put in there? I've already thought of tokens for dates etc...
Thanks in advance for the ideas!

I'm struggling a bit too, hubby and I have decided for a laugh that we'd do each other stockings so we can open ours at the same time as the kids, we've set a limit of £20 so that way we don't end up feeling bad if the other goes and buys something way more than the other expected.
All I've got so far is some gold flecked marmite, he loves the stuff, I hate it, some hot chocolate, chocolate stirrers etc., was thinking of popping into Ann Summers and seeing what novelty things they have but I have to very careful with the kids seeing what he opens! I'm struggling enough with his main presents as he wanted a wet suit which I didn't really want to buy so I told him just to get it anyway, so now I'm stuck on both the stocking and his main presents! MEN!!!!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -
I know! I was having a look at the other posts here and other websites and I found some heart shaped chocolate lollies (very expensive) so I might make some and pop them in...maybe some fudge too.
Another idea that was popular in these threads was getting a glass jar and putting sweets in it. I think we've set a limit of £30 and 2 things have to be home made but I think I'll come in at much under that.
Buy him a weekend away? That's what I've done with mine. (obviously for both of us)0 -
How about some of that 'body chocolate'? - you're supposed to lick it off the other person (if times are tight, I guess a jar of Nutella , a naughty ryhme and a spatula would do :rotfl:)
I once got an ex some (from Boots would you believe). To my friends' amusement, he ate it out the jar with a spoon and never gave me a second glance!0 -

Ha ha! The hubby wouldn't even get that far, the kids would see it and think it was a diff brand of Nutella and expect it on their toast that morning! Def get it if you don't have kids though
Can't get hubby a weekend away, it's our ten year anniversary next year, so we're going away for that and I'M NOT PAYING!!plus we're on holiday a couple of weeks before it, but I could buy him for his birthday and we could go in the autumn :T

Thinking off the top of my head now - stocking fillers (in terms of size if not price) could be a magazine subscription, a spa treatment, theatre/film tickets, an adventure activity like paintballing, ballooning, car racing circuit, a kiddies chocolate bar, a miniature of his favourite tipple, a lottery ticket, some fortune cookies, a mobile phone sock... (got one of these for someone and he thought it was a willie warmer!)0

Here's what Ive got so far -
mini hand warmers (in prim@rk for £1.50 and very cute with their own covers! I got a blue one with penguins on as OH love penguins)
a tshirt in prim@rk for £3 (in a smaller size as we are both trying to lose weight ready for our big holiday next summer so its an incentive too)
a chocolate orange which I realise contradicts what I said above but we cant have christmas without one imo
sherbert dips in £land
toiletries from b00ts - small little things but will bulk out the stocking
santa socks
What Im still thinking of getting -
Mini frame complete with photo for work
some small car accessories (bloody car mad) like novelty freshners
a diary and mark out a mini countdown to our holiday (5 star trip to Egypt which weve been saving and waiting for 18 months to go on!)
A cd of our fav songs - most likely be all live lounge though lol
a key ring
$100 Egyptian dollars and possibly (depending on what bank balance is like coming into December) a new wallet
I keep saying Ive finished buying christmas gifts especially when I paid for a weekend away which we went on last month but that was the main gift. Have somehow managed spending over another £50 or £60 and it keeps adding up lol but because ive done all the shopping early Ive money left now between november and December wages and I keep convincing myself its stuff that will go to good use hahahaLife is what you make it.0 -
My ideas are:
some deicer for the car/or a scraper
a lottery ticket
chocolate (coins, chocolate orange or a nice big bar of chocolate)
deodorant
a torch
a pair of socks0 -
we always have stockings too, as our now 9 year old dd couldn't understand when she was 4 why mumy and daddy didn't have stockings.
It is my job to do the stockings (even mine!) In my husbands - I usually have some novelty socks, novelty boxers, bottle of beer, deoderant, chocolate orange, some sweets, novelty item (last year was make your own paper areoplanes)0 -
Doing a stocking for my boyfriend, so far have:
Touchscreen gloves (for phones)- £1 (pound world)
2 tubes of hand cream (because his hands get all calloused and chapped at his work and when he's weight lifting) £2 for both on bogohp (Superdrug)
2 slazenger polo shirts- £8 for both (sports direct)
Assassins creed tshirt- £7 (half price from play)
Not too sure if tshirts will fit but a good 'bulker' if they do!
I also have a few blu rays to go in (ted, spiderman 3d and the grey) but these were more expensive (rrp was £42 but got them for £32 with discounts)
Still to get:
Bag of cashews as he loves them! Budget about £2 for those
Pack of triple A batteries for his (toy) helicopter (yeah boring but he says he hasn't used it for ages as he hasn't had a chance to buy batteries)- £1
I was going to put in iron man earphones (£6 from zavvi) but decided not to buy as they are a bit expensive!
Saw some other ideas in primark that I liked but I won't be buying as I think I'll have enough:
Whistle key ring (whistle and it beeps so you can find your keys) I think £2.50 or £3
iPhone loud horn thing to increase volume of music- was £1, down to 50p
iPod/ android battery operated charger for on the move- think it was £2
Also other ideas that might be useful for some:
Simpsons socks- £1 in poundworld, 99p home bargains
Wind up meerkat torch- £1 home bargains0 -
Thanks for the whistle key ring! That's something I must get for the OH!! He loses them all the time!
xx2018 wins: Scottish weekend break, london weekend break and hotel chocolat hamper0
