Christmas presents for a 3 year old & 6 year old - both girls?

An elderly gentleman has asked me to get Christmas presents for his neighbours two daughters who are aged 3 years and 6 years. I asked him what his budget was and he said £15 - £20 in total for the two presents.
I haven't a clue what girls of this age are into, can anyone make any relevant suggestions?

I would take a look through the argos 2 for £15, maybe one each of these: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3844957.htm
or this for the 3 year old: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3847710.htm#pdpFullProductInformation
And this for the 6: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9035818.htm#pdpFullProductInformation
Have a look through the 2 for £15 on there, they have some lovely bits on the offer

If you have a home bargains near you then you can't go far wrong in there. Depends what they are in to, and not all girls are typical girls, My little one is 4 and loves disney princess and my little pony but also heavily into doctor who and dinosaurs. So I would ask him to ask what the children are into first and then go from there. Home bargains you can get two lovely presents in there for well under his budget. I picked up a tardis for my daughters doctor who playset and cost me 4.99 it's lights up and everything and looking around the rrp was 20 pound, so it's worth a look.'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

Thanks! I did ask him what they were into and he said it didn't matter. To be truthful I don't think he knows and he isn't that well because he had an operation in the last month and he has been back in hospital twice since because of it.
I was left with this job last year and I got the younger one a toy which looked like a hi-fi and it played nursery rhymes. The older child got a handbag which had a hairdryer and things in it. The hairdryer made a noise when it was switched on. I want to try and get things which are different to last years presents.
Thanks for the suggestions! I might get to look in Home Bargains next week as my hubby is being admitted to the hospital this week!0 -

Ours faves are tummy ache and shopping list.
Or check out the early learning centre, they have 20% off all toys at the moment, on top of other discounts already on there, you can search by age and delivery is free.
