Mortgage application affected by Childcare Voucher salary sacrefice?

Hi, if I decide to receive a salary sacrefice in the form of childcare vouchers, will this affect my mortgage application?

I guess it may reduce your gross salary.
But from an affordability perspective i imagine child care would be considered anyway . You would imagine this would have less of an impact as its actually costing you less ?

Hi, I can afford a mortgage either way. The lender may not see it this way though if I take a salary sacrefice and decide that we can't apply for the amount of loan we need. In regard to Payslip evidence. Does anyone know who is sure?

Depends on things such as how large your salary is, the extent of the deduction, the mortgage sum, the property value and so on.

I thought mortgage companies now interrogate your incomings and outgoings, in which case it's neutral, well in fact it's positive by your marginal tax rate x £243 per month if my memory serves me correct so that's a good thing
