Would like to transfer CC balances to 0% card but not in work.

Hi,
I have three CC's with a total of £4105 owing. First direct, Barclaycard and Virgin.
The latter two were 0% on transfers but they have now expired. FD was a joint account with my ex and I got half the debt. I can only afford minimum monthly payments.
I would like to transfer to 0% card but I'm currently unemployed although looking for work. I don't have a mortgage anymore. I would like to reduce my outgoings. Are there any options available to me?
Thank you

Usually when you clear a card, after a few months of it being empty they start offering you 0% balance transfers (depending on your credit rating) It's best to do this with a card with a reasonable APR though, so if you still have debts after the 0% expires then it isn't such a big hit in interest.
I'd probably just aim all of my effort at snowballing, focus on clearing the highest APR first, this is improving your situation long term. There's hundreds of ways to do this, even without full time work.
From experience, having another card just means it gets full too.0 -
I have a long way to go on clearing them. The lowest balance is £916.
I don't use them just pay the debts.0 -

If you read post number 2, that's a 100 item list of things that you can do to reduce your debt.
Any bank/card charges you could reclaim? That might make a big impact. There's lots of little things that can be done to bring it down quicker than you'd think. You could do 1 thing a day and soon you'd start to see results.0 -
Will do. Thank you0
