Oh hun, that's so annoying. On the plus side though, when you do eventually open your tin it'll be a nice surprise

I know. I've calmed down a bit now and begun to see the positives.
Anyway, took DD to Edinburgh zoo yesterday to see !!!PANDAS!!!! as it was her birthday and got 3 x 20p change in gift shop.
As regards Moneysaving at Edinburgh Zoo:- Let DD take a friend, as a family is cheaper than 2 adults & 1 child, so the friend effectively cost nothing
- Booked online and declined the conservation levy of 10%
- Didn't buy any food there but took the kids to a chain restaurant instead as they have special lunch menus
- Bought the kids Panda tattoos in the gift shop which were £2 as opposed to about £15 for the smallest soft toy (and they just get forgotten when they get home)
- Bought DH a bookmark (which is how come I got the 20ps - although that wasn't why I bought the bookmark, honest!)

MSE got in touch and restored the part of my signature relating to my 20p savings, so with the 60p at the zoo that's me now up to £5.80.
With regard to my previous post, I admit that claiming "money saving" in connection with a trip to the zoo was perhaps a bit of an oxymoron. "Money Spending Avoidance" might have been a better way of putting it!
But back to the signature. Apparently someone on here reported me to MSE because they felt (after TWO YEARS of seeing it) that lists of favourite author names in my signature somehow suggested that I wanted to buy and/or sell. So I have amended my signature. Although quite how I am supposed to explain to fellow book lovers which authors I like when I am not allowed to say who they are beats me....!!!:rotfl:0 -
Only one 20p to pot today but better than none.
Happy potting everyone

Another 20p at ASDA. Woo Hoo!
Unfortunately I had to go there to buy drain cleaner because DD has not been eating her breakfast but instead has been tipping milk and cereal down the sink. Today the sink fought back and regurgitated. Boo Hoo!0 -
