  • From shopping change earlier, not only did the lovely self checkout at Sainsburys give me a £2, it also gave me a 20p....only time I have ever liked a self checkout!!

  • £2.80 saved so far, i've actually found it difficult as i am trying hard not to spend on stuff i really don't need, but hten i want to spend to get some more 20p's lol. i have taken to asking everyone in the house for there 20ps even the kids if they have any change in there pocket money.

    my plan is to save for a month and then transfer whatever i have to pay extra to one of my credit cards and then restart the next month and see if i can improve on my amounts each month

  • saved another £4.20 this week- I am going to do a count at the end of the month and then bank the money- it will be a hell of a lot of coins by the year end otherwise! I need this thread to remind me the saving is for a purpose though!!
    now debt free and determined to maintain good spending habits and build savings
