You can but try. I'd simply hand it over and hope they don't notice. If they do, get embarrassed and apologise. If they try to take it off you say you have to show it to your husband as he was expecting you to use it. Then you can try it again elsewhere.

I have done that myself. I was away on holiday and it went out of date. So I tried it and they would not take it. So, I call customer services and told them it would not scan so they sent me a giftcard with the money from it on.

I did 2 shops today. One with 2x Dairy plus frozen food etc, so had 24 muller, and other one with squash (for PP) and lots of 10p sweets.

Woman on the check out gave me a funny look ... handed her 2 PP vouchers with receipts, £10 frozen food deals voucher, a £2 clubcard voucher, and a few of the 25 extra points things.

She looks at me and says "Oh you're one of those aren't you". Then when the till starts spitting 10p vouchers she says "I guess I don't need to tell you that you can use 5 at once" without a hint of a smile!

Anyone else had any problems getting missing vouchers? Had a delivery last night and spent 32 something on dairy, but only got 1 voucher. Rang them today and had a woman waffling at me for 5 mins at how its only 1 voucher for over £8 dairy full stop, like with an argos deal where you get 10 for over 100 spend you dont get another for 200 yaddayaddayadda. Gonna try again tomorrow

Just a reminder if you buy 12 x muller light on offer for £4 and buy something dairy for 80p you will get a 10p voucher. The tills are taking the original price of £7.20 on the yogurts. HTH

I only got 3 out of my 5- phoned straight away and he just said they'd post them to me. No quibbling- didn't ask what I'd bought or anything. Presumably he could have seen my order though as he took the order no.
