  • I just read all 20 pages of this thread - how sad is that and still didn't find the answers to my queries, which are:
    1. Can the 5 vouchers all be for dairy when you use them in the filling station?
Also, I've learnt something by reading this thread that I didn't know aout which is the price promise. So question
    2. I shopped in store so how do I do the price promise?
    3. My friend came with me shopping and had a dairy coupon but doesn't drive so can I use hers too, or will the barcode enable them to know it is from someone else?

    1. Yes! It does not matter which way you collect vouchers just as long as you buy enough qualifying products to receive the five.

    2. You go onlin to tesco price promise (google) and enter your receipt details from bottom of receipt.

    3. Yes you can use, they are just till splits.

    1. yes you can
    2. you must buy 8 different items including one comparable grocery item in your basket, then input details here

best to keep things which cost more in T`s in different shops to those which are cheaper in T`s to get good PP.
eg.......I done andrex with items cheaper or the same price in A`s and got £10 pp back and most of my dairy stuff I done in a separate shop as a lot of it is on offer in T`s and works out cheaper .So if I did both shops as 1 ,I would not have got a pp of £10 back as T`s dairy savings would have cancelled out where I paid more .does that make sense?
3.yes you can use they are not linked to any one person ,same barcode on all.

  • Thank you for replying that the vouchers can all be for one thing. I wasn't sure if people were buying lots of loo rolls to get 10p coupons off each time they filled up if they have several cars or use a lot of fuel or if you could actually use the same product coupons to get the maximum 50p
Meantime I have worked out by googling how to submit my receipt for a potential price promise and am eagerly awaiting the results.
I have a whole stack of previous receipts here. How long after doing the shop do I have to check them?
  • OK I found the answer to my own question which is that I can check for the pp for 28 days. Annoyingly I have receipts back to August and not last weeks!!
I'm eagerly awaiting the results now of the three that I have found though.
I bought the dairy this week as part of my normal shopping and the actimel were 2 large packs for £6 and the small size Flora which were on offer 2 for £2. I also saved £2 in store when I paid as I had a previous till voucher for £2 off dairy and I also had a £5 off £40, so the fact that both my friend and I had 10p petrol coupons was already good and now I discover that potentially I might have saved even more.
I know that both the dairy things that I bought were cheaper than Asda as I had checked that out on MySupermarket anyway as there was no point in buying high priced stuff just to get the 10p litre discount.
That's a point - with the pp do they match the highest or lowest competitiors price?
I am aware that their petrol is often more expensive than both Morrissons and Asda around here but this is going to save us lots of money this month and I think I'll go and get some more dairy stuff today or tomorrow while they are still giving the coupons.
Just need to check that the two I already have are correctly dated.

A good dairy item for price comparison seems to be the lurpak 1kg tubs. Currently £5.68 in Tesco, but only £3 in Asda.

I guess a load of MSE's had already spotted this as my store was almost cleared out lol.

Got 2 lots of shopping-2 lots of robinsons and one lot of dairy in each, plus a few bits to hopefully hit the PP.

Waiting for my PP emails to make sure I got stuff right lol. Still if not still got £37.50 free petrol back on £55 of food we would get and use anyway-plus one more petrol voucher for the other car (80l tank).

Can someone guide my how best to gain from this offer. I have read the 20 odd pages and totally confused. Can I buy 2 of the same robinsons or do they have to be different same with toilet rolls (which are now £4 at Asda) thanks for some help
