I am organising to see Swanley Banqueting - The Woodlands in May.

I am also about to organise a visit to Inn on the Lake

    VERY EXCITED!!!

Hi i live round the corner from inn on the lake!!, Went to view this for my wedding with my mum and she had been 10 years earlier to view with my brother and said that it hadnt changed in all that time!!.:rotfl:

We got married in holiday inn in sevenoaks and had our sons christening they were fab!:j

I think i mentioned cascades to you in another thread honestly luv its worth a look had my daughters christening there couldnt recommend it enough emily (manager of functions is fab):T
They have a few pics on there web site!

Can i be nosey and ask roughly where you are might be able to point you in the direction of some more

p.s. something to seriously consider about inn on the lake is that the function hall opens out onto the big lake (hence the name lol:rotfl: ) but we found that it is just too dangerous if you have kids attending the wedding because when we looked there was nothing to stop the kids from falling in very dangerous! and a pain in the bum if you are a parent and have to watch you kid ALL evening beause of the lake.
OHHH also a pain if your families like mine and enjoy a drink they too could fall in!!:rotfl:

    Could not find cascades website.

How good was the holiday in money wise?

cacades web site, jason suite is the one you would probably want, for my daughters christening just to give you an idea:
    £40per hour hall hire
    Has own bar(reasonable priced drinks)
    Have dance floor
Small kind of court yard thing for guests to go out on to
We hired bouncy castle was £20 for hour
we also wanted member of staff to stay with kids (cause castle was in sports hall) that was £10.
They let me bring my own food in
Set up hall for me/offered to set cake etc up too

As i said this was christening dont know how weddings differ

Holiday inn (was married there 2005):D
was fab :T idea of prices then:
£25 (3 course meal per head)
£13 drinks package (arrival drink/toast/wine on table) you dont have to buy this per person,we didnt as many people dont drink/not every one will want toast drink many will want to buy their own
We got a free posh room for night with bubbly in!
Also got free top table decoration
Evening buffet was £8.50 per head
    Bar was pricey as hotel
    Hall hire was £250
    Disco they provided was £250
They gave all guests discounted rate £40pp per night including breakfast
Also we had free meal on our 1st wedding anniversary at hotel

But I had a great day they really couldnt do enough for us.:T :T

Hope this helps, bear in mind prices would have changed xxx
    good luck
