The mortgage is £147k with £9k arrears ........ the house is on the market at £350k.0

Thank you for that - the house has been on the market and now we have a court date, if we drop the price I do not think it would stop going to court.
Has anyone any experience of going to a reposession hearing - what is likely to happen etc ..... ?
Hi
Have a careful look at the CAB info & guide below - you should find some answers and options perhaps depending on circumstances and where you live
http://mymoney.nedcab.org.uk/moneyadvice/mortgagearrears.asp
Shelter also has some top info
http://england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice/repossession
Then maybe come back with more info & questions
Also as you have already got a court date best to get immediate advice from a recognised agency0 -
All options to repay have been knocked back - they then gave her 3 months to sell provided she pay the full mortgage amount (even though they have seen income and expenditure forms to show she can't afford it).
Trying to apply for Mortgage Interest payment which will help if she gets that - ideally would want the court to see she's doing her best to sort something out and give her longer to sell as opposed to repossessing ? Not sure if this is realistic ?0
