Only two days ago I spoke to my on-line bank, which claims to have its call centres in the UK. The "lady" I spoke to was in Leeds ! and she spoke with a Yorkshire (or some other Northern dialect) accent.

I would draw the line at that too. At least with Indian call centres there is no evidence the caller has a tattoo, I don't speak to people with tattoos, its catching.
I do like Scottish call centres, there is something reassuring about a person with a gentle Edinburgh accent and red hair that makes me trust them. I think perhaps its the frugal McDougall reputation the Scots have, you know they don't want to waste your money, its not in their nature.0 -
