BP ultimate lowest price in/Near Belfast

My mechanic recommends BP ultimate which is a little bit more expensive. Can anyone reccomend a garage for low cost BP ultimate?

Ultimate is always expensive. Petrol or diesel?

why not add a additive to get the same result with supermarket fuel, but that has a cost as well

http://www.petrolprices.com/ is a handy wee site for these sorts of things :)

Type in your postcode, and it'll tell you the cheapest at your local stations.

Did he tell you what the benefits of it were? Do they apply to your car specifically or any car?

Here's another (local based) one, and you don't need to register.

Though if I could get more people updating it it would be much better..
  • Tracvelling all over Northern Ireland and only using Ultimate Diesel (where I can) I have found that there is not much difference in the price around Belfast or Lisburn....it is cheaper in Coleraine though bu about 5/6p (I paid £1.459 p/l in Coleraine (Millburn Rd) and £1.499 & 1.509 in Belfast & Lisburn this past week....it was £1.559 in Newcastle last night).

If you are buying Ultimate all the time like me then I would recomend getting a Nectar Card....so far I have got nearly £60 in points back this year alone....I do ALOT of miles per year..

On the point of using it I have found that I get roughly 10-13% more MPG out of it compared to standard petrol.....and my car doesnt have to regen itsself very often.

1st question - what's the car/engine? If it doesn't adjust for the higher RON value then it'll be a waste of time/money. Check the owner's handbook to see what type of fuel it says to use.
I used to find that Sainsbury's super unleaded was only 2p more expensive than their standard stuff, which was the cheapest 'premium' fuel I could find.
