I have just ordered my credit files, in my challenge to clean up my credit file!
On Experian it states I have a financial link with my ex, which I never had in the first place! Neither equifax or noddle have this on it. I have contacted Experian regarding this as I have had no contact with my ex since February of 2006, but I've not even had a "thanks for your contact" I've heard nothing!
I'd also like to find out who I contact in regards to a CCJ being marked as satisfied/partiall satisfied as I was subject to a DRO which finished in September. This is still showing as active. I sent the standard credit file clean up letter to the original creditor, but I dont know if that was right as its not a normal credit file entry its a CCJ
Can anyone shed any light on what to do about these please?

Regards the CCJ, the courts will normally only mark that as settled if it's actually been paid in full. The CRAs have to record what the courts say, so they in turn cannot change it.
Obviously in a DRO it has not been paid in full.
You could ask the creditor if they will agree to it being marked satisfied? Unlikely though. Or you may be able to apply to the court (if they will let you) to have it marked as settled and hope the creditor does not object?
Honestly though, it's probably not worth the effort. The DRO will be on your CRA record longer than the CCJ, so settled or not it is mostly neither here nor there.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

When I contacted Experian about a couple of errors on my credit file, they sent me back a 'holding' email (I think that's what it's called,) to acknowledge they had got it. But it was 2 weeks before I heard anything else. They are very busy, and don't generally answer until they have found everything out that you need to know.0
