Triton Credit Services

Hi
I have recently recieved a letter from Triton Demanding full payment of £2633 for my natwest card which i have been slowly paying off as much as i can , the letters they have sent are not very pleasant , they are asking me to phone which i am not going to do as I think they will be stroppy on the phone and i will be bullied into something,.
I have however sent them an offer of full and final settlement for £1100, as i found some interest in a old account ,but this was over a week ago and they have not replied, ythe thing is I have just sold my car and can now offer £1800 to settle this debt ( which there is a `quite a few charges which i may reclaim at a later date.
I sent the first offer to the Po Box ADDRESS which i couldnt send recorded ( so I was told) is there another address or email i can send a revised offer to , or should i wait for a reply first
Thanx in advance

    Hi.

I cannot speak from a personnal experience regarding Triton but my partner has had dealing,s with these people. The upshot is do not back down. They kept trying to get her to pay more. She refused to do this and (Not trying to panic you) had many a run in with these people. If you do phone them be expected for rude, arrogant but not very knowledgable staff. My partner was paying a reduced amount and she refused to increase it much as they tried. The end result was that the account was handed back to nat west and she now pays £1 per month. I realise this is not an answer to you question but i am trying to give you a bit of background when you deal with these idiots.

Don't change your offer. Leave it as is. If they refuse it, ask them what settlement would be acceptable.

Triton are really hard to deal with. They kept claiming they didn't receive my letter. I sent one recorded delivery to the PO box address, could track it online and they did definitely receive it. And they had to admit that they did.

Edit: can you include a scan of the original letter, with any personal details blurred out? I believe the letter is itself in breach of company law.
