newbie to the forum

hi,i have been reading some posts and have decided to join the forum.
my debts :o are as follows......
vanquis visa...£378.73
grattan catalogue...£9.76
scotcall recovery...£59.02
npower....£305.61
great universal...£145.25
kays lifestyle...£311.57
ndr recovery...£729.74....
provident loans....£1400 ( think i have just cleared the interest )
it looks worse when its in front of you :eek:
but i will get there ...i am a single parent with a great son aged ten and a great daughter aged four ,hence the name luckymom :D .....

    Hi and welcome. What about incomings? See the sticky for how to do an SOA and lots of people will show you ways to cut back and get debt free quicker.

    i am on income support ....i didnt plan on being a single mom ,but am looking at doing some training as my daughter is only part time at nursery so its difficult to find a job that works around her...
    i get £122.57 income support and
    child benefit £30.20 a week....

    what we need is what you pay per week/month on food, utilities,phone, etc anything you pay out on a regular basis and dont be scared no one will judge yo we are all here for the same reason
    and we are all very friendly

    Can you list your other outgoings, and the minimum payments & aprs of your debts please? That will enable us to see where savings could be made.

    Have you managed to meet the minimum payments on these so far, or ahve you defaulted?

    water rates £ 10 a week
    tv licence £ 4 a week
    food £25 a week
    electric £20
    scotcall recovery £5 a week
    phone , internet £20 a week
    provident £30 a week
    then monthly ...
    ndr collections £15 a month
    great universal £ 10 a month
    visa £20 a month
    kays £5 a month... i tend to pay the weekly bills and hope for the best with the monthly ones if i dont over spend in the week it gives me a bit head start with the monthlys....as yet i havent defaulted :j
