HELP! CCJ and PPI

A few years ago I got into financial difficulties and ended up with a lot of debt. I ended up agreeing full and final settlements with most of my creditors, but I still have a CCJ from one bank loan and a DMP from another bank loan. I'm sure I paid PPI on all of the credit I had, but I have none of the original credit agreements any more. These debts go back from 5 to 10 years. Am I entitled to reclaim PPI on loans closed with full and final payment agreements? How do I find out if PPI is included in the CCJ or the DMP?

You could try, and if you win they will deduct any money that is still left from after you paid your F&Fs.

Yu have to have a provable reason for reclaiming, do you have any.

First of all DMP no longer gives homeowners protection from charging orders.

When did a DMP ever do that?

Also from 1st of October the lender awarded with CCJ can apply a charging order against the home. But he can't force you to sell your house.

You will no longer need to have broken the terms of a CCJ before they can seek a charging order (so a change in the creditors favour) but I have not seen that it has changed their ability to seek a forced sale which remains very unlikely but not impossible

The change in the law relating to charging orders ONLY applies to CCJs where judgment was granted on or after 1st Oct 2012. For CCJs granted prior to that date, nothing has changed.
