Silly question about time of AD

So mine and hubby's year is almost up. Nov 28th.

My silly question is, are we AD at midnight on 28th November; so 23.59 on 27th we are still BR but minute later at 00.00 on 28th Nov we're not or, is it 23.59 on 28th we are still BR but midnight on the 29th we're not?
Need to know which night to stay up so I can keep checking the register and go to bed with a spring in my step.
